On 3 June 2026, we had the privilege of being invited to the studios of Radio Classique by Laure Mézan for the programme Le Journal du Classique, on the occasion of the recent release of our latest album devoted to the First Book of Madrigals for Five Voices by Pomponio Nenna, released on Ricercar.
Thirty minutes of airtime (!) blending interview and musical excerpts, during which Aude-Marie Piloz and Francisco Manalich were able to talk about this recording project and, more broadly, about Comet Musicke’s artistic approach:

On the occasion of the release of their album devoted to Pomponio Nenna, Aude-Marie Piloz and Francisco Manalich, members of the ensemble Comet Musicke, will be the guests of Le Journal du Classique this Wednesday 3 June at 8 pm.
Pomponio Nenna is one of those forgotten composers whose music we rediscover with delight. He pursued his career in Naples and was, in the 16th century, one of the great representatives of the Italian madrigal alongside Carlo Gesualdo. His work is of a striking beauty, voluptuousness and emotional power, as one can hear in this new album by the ensemble Comet Musicke, released on the Ricercar label.
The rediscovered beauty of a 16th-century Neapolitan madrigalist
Francisco Manalich, the ensemble’s artistic director, and viola da gamba player Aude-Marie Piloz will enlighten us this evening about the art of Pomponio Nenna, whose first book of madrigals for five voices they have recorded. A collection composed in 1582 for the son of his patron Fabrizio Carafa… who would die shortly afterwards, murdered by Gesualdo.
